Another would be that so very amuzing performances from our senior competitors !!

No medal this time just stories for the history books.

The best thing about competitions is seeing the alternative side of people’s personalities.  This years Shotokan cup was the time for the ferocious side of Sarah’s personality to emerge.  I superb performance against a tough opponent, it was all going well when Sarah accidentally punched her opponent to the floor, temper temper now !.  Then oddly after kneeling down she rose to have an inch long deep cut on her foot.  Now the question on everybody’s lips is “where did that come from ?”.  Unfortunately Sarah was unable to continue; instead she had to face the scariest people at the competition – St Johns Ambulance.  Luckily we found a doctor to do the stitches which was just as well looking at the size of the bandage applied by the gang of junior St Johns enthusiasts.
