May the 10^th was the date not strictly in the middle of summer but obviously due to global warming we found ourselves travelling to Aberystwyth on one of the hottest days of the year, I guess summer has peeked early this year.

The KUGB holds an annual free regional course for its members each year, due to Wales being such a geographically interesting place we are fortunate to have this course take place in Aberystwyth each year.

This year’s course was taken by Sensei Brennan who gave an absolutely excellent training session.  Sensei started with nice and complex basics followed by some good partner bashing then finishing with 5 different katas.  It is fair to say that I have found some muscles the following morning that I did not even know I had, I only found them due to the aching feeling that they insisted on sharing with me.

Sensei is down in Aber in two weeks so better get some rest.
