These video are encoded using a technology called DIVX.  You may play these video in either media media player or Real player - BUT they require a the DIVX Codec.  This can be installed on your computer by installing DIVX player on your machine (free version)

The source for these video is unknown, they have been travelling around the internet for a couple of years.
